RFID software shows where in the world shipments are

Tom Park, chief technology officer, introduced new RFID software technologies from Analytica (Booth 1545) in a press conference on Monday.

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 4/22/2008

The company’s Aries middleware and Aries mapping systems allow users to garner a complete visual overview of their facilities in accordance to site-based hardware.
“Aries is a rules-based middleware that gathers information, applies rules, directs information, provides visualization and integrates with existing enterprise resource planning products,” explained Park.
Further, the company has expanded the original product scope to include a worldwide tracking mechanism—the Aries mapping system. From Google maps to facility floor plans, the software permits the visual tracking and retrieval of information from multiple locations around the globe, in real-time, Park added.
