Automation: More than 10,000 expected at Automation Fair
The 17th annual Automation Fair in Nashville will feature hands-on labs, exhibits and workshops discussing the latest in automation.

Openness in process applications, the possible pitfalls of sustainability and the future of automation will be the focus the three keynote speakers at the 17th annual Automation Fair.
More than 10,000 manufacturers, executives and analysts are expected take advantage of workshops, technical sessions and forums on the latest automation products and solutions.
Endress+Hauser COO Michael Ziesemer will present “Focus on Openness,” highlighting open standards in process applications. Greener World Media executive editor Joel Makower will discuss the profits and pitfalls on the road to becoming an environmentally responsible business. Herman Bozenhardt, BE&K BioPharm senior vice president and general manager, will detail automation projects in 2010 and beyond.
The event, to be held in Nashville the week of Nov. 17, is hosted by Rockwell Automation. Specialists will detail how manufacturing convergence –the merging of separate automation disciplines and systems – can help improve business performance. Also targeted will be sustainable production, making operations cleaner, safer and more energy efficient.
“The Automation Fair event provides ways for our customers, integrators, OEMs and other decision makers to improve time to market, profitability, optimize assets and plant-wide performance, and reduce manufacturing risk,” said Keith Nosbusch, Rockwell Automation chairman and CEO.
