The Material Handling Education Foundation Inc. (MHEFI) recently announced its 2009-2010 scholarship winners. This year, 32 students will receive a total of $95,100 in scholarship funds. This continued MHEFI's 33-year tradition of support to enterprising students at universities instructing in material handling and logistics sciences.
MHEFI scholarships, sponsored by Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) member companies, are awarded each year to students dedicated to entering the materials handling and logistics field. Awardees are pursuing educational goals that will enable them to enter the industry as engineers, project managers, management and professors. Many will be employed by end-users, manufacturers or MHIA member companies.
