Manufacturing: New logistics certification
Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 2/1/2009
The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council has created a new credentialing system allowing "front line workers" to become logistics certified. The Certified Logistics Associate and the more advanced Certified Logistics Technician certificates address the core competencies of materials handling workers. The program is geared toward younger aspiring supply chain and logistics managers, such as technical school graduates, high school graduates, and even younger.
