The Industrial Truck Association (ITA; www.indtrk.org) has formed an alliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA; www.osha.gov) to protect workers from hazards associated with powered industrial trucks. "Each year, thousands of preventable forklift-related injuries occur throughout the U.S. workplaces," says OSHA administrator John Henshaw. "We look forward to ITA's counsel on training and informational products that will have a positive impact on the health and safety of workers who use powered industrial trucks."
