A new release of a request-for-information (RFI) product helps retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, third-party logistics providers and warehouse operators quickly search for a new warehouse management system (WMS). The electronic Microsoft Excel spreadsheet includes over 600 specific questions about WMS functionality and suppliers. To compile these specific questions into an RFI spreadsheet, a selection team asks a vendor to answer questions about its products. The team validates all information and then highlights all negative responses in yellow and positive responses in green to quickly see where the product is strong and weak. Customers using the spreadsheet may add, delete and modify questions to pertain to their operations.
