Beverage event sure to satisfy any thirst

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 9/1/2000

The International Beverage Expo & Conference will make its debut at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (New Orleans, La.), on December 4-6, 2000.

Under new ownership of Reed Exhibition Companies, the biannual event will reflect its new all-beverage positioning as well as a host of new features.

InterBev 2000 will bring together decision makers from all sectors-soft drink, water, beer, nutraceuticals, coffee, tea, wine, liquor, juice, milk, and sports/new age drinks-to recognize the way the industry is changing.

With 215,000 sq. ft. of space, over 600 exhibitors will supply products and services ranging from materials handling and labeling to beverages and ingredients.

New initiatives planned for this year's event include a networking and buying program for beverage retailers, expanded Web site usefulness, exhibitor advisory committee, and expanded marketing programs for exhibitors.

InterBev has also created a Beverage Retail Conclave, the only dedicated forum designed to bring beverage retailers and suppliers together under one roof, which will take place at the event.

For information about attending or exhibiting at InterBev, call 203-840-5618 or visit www.interbev.com .
