Swisslog acquires EVOmatic Engineering Solutions

Expanding its solutions portfolio in high-growth business areas was the strategy behind Swisslog Logistics' (www.swisslog.com) purchase of EVOmatic Engineering Solutions. EVOmatic is a light goods logistics specialist headquartered in Austria. Founded in 2003, it has experience developing successful logistics technologies.
Swisslog, headquartered in Switzerland, is a global provider of integrated logistics solutions with a service portfolio that ranges from building complex warehouses and DCs to implementing its own software to intra-company logistics solutions for hospitals. The addition of EVOmatic's mini-load cranes, load-handling devices, and shuttle systems are welcome additions to Swisslog's unit-load cranes and pallet conveying systems, giving Swisslog the ability to provide varied and more flexible solutions for existing and potential clients.
