Colson Caster Corporation introduced at ProMat a new president, Charles Bub, who joined the company in November.
"We will continue to design and engineer new product advancements, particularly in the areas of higher temperature and corrosion resistance," Bub said.
The company also debuted two new products: the ThermoTech wheel and the ProTech shock absorbing caster.
The ThermoTech wheel features an aluminum core for corrosion resistance in humid environments, a high-temperature, soft rubber tread able to withstand up to 490 degrees in continuous use and 525 degrees in intermittent use, and a Teflon coated bearing. The 4-inch diameter wheel offers a 250-pound capacity.
The company also introduced the ProTech caster, which features a precision swivel for smooth and quiet operation, a polyurethane spring for maintenance-free performance, and a customizable protective plastic housing.
