Materials handling: TGW-Ermanco appoints Larry Strayhorn president

He will succeed Leon Kirschner.

Larry Strayhorn was named president of TGW-Ermanco. He will succeed Leon Kirschner. 

Strayhorn will also be a member of the board of directors. Kirschner will continue with TGW-Ermanco as chief executive officer to facilitate the transition. Strayhorn is well-qualified with a 31-year management and executive career in the materials handling industry. He has held a variety of executive and management positions at Diamond Phoenix, Rapistan, Demag, Mannesmann Demag and Eaton-Kenway. Strayhorn is currently vice-chairman of the Material Handling Institute of America.
