Cooling system options

-- Modern Materials Handling, 5/1/2003

All-in-one package
A series of air-cooled vertical packaged air conditioning systems features a compact cabinet depth of 28-1/2 inches that fits in tight spaces and through 32-inch doorways. Self-sealing refrigeration valves allow the unit to be split in the field without a loss of factory charge. Quiet and durable, the air conditioners feature a completely insulated evaporator and condenser for acoustic and thermal protection as well as a full stainless steel condensate pan that is rust-resistant. Forklift pockets make transporting the unit throughout the warehouse easy.

Variety of ways to stay cool
Available as air-cooled, water-cooled or chilled-water units, the C-series of horizontal air conditioners can be installed with single or multiple refrigerant circuits. The units are offered in four cabinet sizes starting at 16 inches high and with capacities ranging from 1 to 15 tons. Heat rejection options include air, water, glycol or chilled water. Units can be split allowing the condenser location away from the evaporator while reducing ducting costs. Units over 4 tons come with dual compressors for staged operation.
