Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 3/30/2009

Global supply chain optimization provider Manhattan Associates, Inc. has announced that more than 30 customers will present ideas and strategies at this year’s Momentum 2009 conference to be held May 19-22 at the Venetian Complex in Las Vegas.

Executives from Anna's Linens, Build-A-Bear Workshop, David's Bridal, Giant Eagle, New Balance, Orvis, Tesco Direct, The Men's Wearhouse, Timberland, Under Armour, Urban Outfitters, Whirlpool and many more will share their strategies for leveraging supply chain optimization to improve business processes and customer service while reducing overall costs. In addition, Momentum 2009 will provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss supply chain innovation in more than 65 educational sessions and hands-on demonstrations of the Manhattan SCOPE portfolio of solutions.

“Manhattan Associates' customers and partners, along with the most respected minds in the analyst and press community, will have four days to interact and share the latest in supply chain expertise,” says Pete Sinisgalli, chief executive officer, Manhattan Associates.

The keynote speaker for Momentum 2009 is Emmy-award winning broadcaster and talk show host Bob Costas, who will provide examples from his 35 years of experience in the sports and entertainment broadcasting industries.
