SupplyPro expands its inventory management line

Supply Pro Inc. (858-552-7610, www.supplypro.com) announced an expansion to its point-of-use inventory management system line, which already includes SupplyAgent, an automated dispensing cabinet. The systems reduce consumption, control inventory at the point-of-use, and automate the re-ordering of supplies.
"Companies can keep on hand only what employees need when they need it," says Lorna Willis, director of marketing. "This reduces costs and eliminates waste because companies are managing what they are using," she adds.
The expanded line includes Supply Bay, which offers single item dispensing and SupplyLocker, which allows employees to check out and check in tools. Supply Pod, an array of buttons that can be positioned on existing shelves, features a "take" button that employees press when they remove an item.
Employees can use an identification card or a pin number to access the secured systems. The systems allow for employee accountability because companies can track who is using which items.
