Supply chain summit: Aberdeen Group and Supply-Chain Council announce strategic partnership
SCC founder joins ranks with leading industry executives to present The Supply Chain Management Summit.

Aberdeen Group, a Harte-Hanks Company, announces its partnership with the Supply-Chain Council (SCC) in support of Aberdeen’s 2009 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Summit April 2-3, 2009 in San Francisco. The Supply-Chain Council is a global non-profit consortium whose methodology, diagnostic and benchmarking tools help nearly 1,000 organizations make dramatic and rapid improvements in supply chain processes.
In support of the Council’s mission to continuously improve supply chain processes, Aberdeen’s 2009 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Summit will convene supply chain leaders from around the globe to share insights, discuss strategies and engage with peers surrounding key challenges facing the supply chain today.
“Supply chains have become increasingly complex and time-sensitive, and leading supply chain executives recognize the importance of benchmarking their SCM best practices against those of their peers,” says Joseph Francis, SCC executive director. “The Supply-Chain Council values our opportunity to work with Aberdeen in support of this goal and in support of their Supply Chain Management Summit.”
One of the SCC founders and renowned supply chain expert Richard Sherman will deliver a presentation on Keeping SCOR with the Supply Chain as part of the event.
