The premier material handling and logistics event in North and South America, ProMat 2011, is returning to Chicago's McCormick Place South on March 21-24, 2011. ProMat is sponsored by Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) and brings together manufacturers, consultants, third party logistics providers, publishers and systems integrators to demonstrate their equipment, systems and services to tens of thousands of manufacturing, warehousing and distribution professionals from more than 100 countries.
"We are committed to making ProMat 2011 an exceptional event where our association members and show attendees can come together to see what's new in our industry, discover the leading trends for industrial productivity, and foster strong business relationships,” said John Nofsinger, chief executive officer for MHIA.
ProMat 2011 will be the largest international material handling and logistics show and conference held in the U.S. in 2011. More than 700 exhibitors are expected to showcase solutions on the 300,000 net square foot ProMat 2011 Show floor. ProMat exhibits will represent all segments of the material handling and logistics industry, from traditional, manual equipment to computerized, automated systems. To make it easier for attendees to find the solutions they need, the ProMat show floor will be divided into solution-specific sections: manufacturing and assembly solutions, fulfillment and delivery solutions, and information technology (IT) solutions.
ProMat 2011 will again include its International Buyer Program. The Program provides matchmaker services for interested buyers and sellers through an International Business Center located in the show hall. In addition to the exhibition, ProMat 2011 will offer a comprehensive educational conference including a keynote and show floor educational sessions covering all aspects of material handling and logistics--all free to ProMat participants. In addition to the actual event, ProMat 2011 will also feature a comprehensive virtual event at www.ProMatShow.com.
