Holjeron Launches New Generation3 Products at ProMat 2009
Holjeron introduced several new product architectures during ProMat 2009 held January 12-15, 2009 at McCormick Place in Chicago. This year’s show was very well attended despite the difficult economic conditions. Visitors to the Holjeron booth were impressed with our newest conveyor display featuring our new line of driver cards, and new ZoneLink®3 family of enhanced conveyor controls. Holjeron also debuted the new Microroller®3 24 VDC Smartroller™ powered rollers. Holjeron received a great deal of enthusiasm and interest from both domestic and international attendees.

Holjeron Introduces the First ‘Smart’ Powered Roller - Microroller®3
Holjeron displayed the world’s first Smartroller™ 24VDC Powered Roller at ProMat 2009 in January. Coupled with Holjeron’s new ZoneLink®3 family of controls, the Microroller®3 will offer industry leading intelligence in a 24VDC powered roller.
Control systems will now be able to read detailed information directly from the Smartroller™, including part number and serial number, operating life parameters, fault and warning conditions, hours of operation, and many more part-specific and diagnostic level details. Stored in non-volatile memory within the roller itself, control systems will now be able to accurately assess the health of every component in the conveyor system for preventative and pre-emptive maintenance.
In addition, Holjeron’s new ZoneLink®3 control modules will be able to identify exactly what kind of Microroller is connected and control it accordingly, thus reducing the number and kind of control modules needed in the system.

Holjeron Announces the New ZoneLink®3 Conveyor Control Family
For the first time, Holjeron displayed its new ZoneLink®3 family of conveyor controls. The new family of products includes single zone, dual zone and four zone controllers for Zero Pressure Accumulation (ZPA) for Microroller®3 24 VDC powered roller conveyors and pneumatically controlled conventional conveyors. Models include versions for stand-alone ZPA as well as Ethernet/IP and DeviceNet® enabled units for connection to and control by supervisory control systems. The ZoneLink®3 family also includes accessory modules for infeed, outfeed and slug release control, as well as generic I/O blocks for controlling or interfacing to inline equipment.
