For use with cranes, rack feeders, carriage systems and other rail-bound vehicles and materials handling equipment, the Positrax system offers dynamic, laser-based positioning. Featuring easy-to-use software and full compatibility with other discontinued systems, the unit provides seamless integration with existing equipment. Adaptive software is included that learns crane or vehicle movements and positioning to generate a reference curve for modeling of the correct position. For fast, safe synchronous operation, the positioner provides full closed-loop feedback for up to four axes. The unit handles positioning distances up to 787 feet at 11.5 feet per second.
