MHPN Product of the Day: Portable, motive battery charger

The Dynapulse248 motive battery charger conserves energy and reduces environmental waste.

Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 10/30/2009

The Dynapulse248 motive battery charger conserves energy and reduces environmental waste. Originally commissioned by the military to solve a sulfation problem in ground support motive batteries, the system uses very high current pulses at a low frequency to clean the battery interior. This removes crystallized sulfation of deeply discharged and heavily sulfated batteries without hazardous gassing, overcharging or other negative impact on the battery. The Dynapulse is lightweight and portable for use within the workshop, warehouse or in a mobile service station. Power Products, 415-883-6300, www.power-products.com.
