Lifter handles two metal rolls of different sizes simultaneously

The lifter picks up mill roll loads consisting of two rolls held in place by bearing chocks. When the custom-designed adjustable shoes are in place, the lifter can handle rolls with a diameter of 450 to 500 mm.; with adjustable shoes folded back, the lifter handles rolls with a diameter of 750 to 790 mm. The load is engaged or disengaged automatically as it is picked up or put down. The vendor can design mill duty lifters with capacities up to 50 tons.Bushman Equipment, Inc.
