Belt cleats increase conveyor productivity
By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 2/1/1998
Mechanically attached conveyor belt cleats (Tatch-A-Cleat model HD2) use a two-in. height for increased productivity in heavy-duty materials handling applications.Compared to belts with shorter cleats, this model moves larger items and greater bulk quantities more effectively, and loads up steeper inclines requiring less floor space.
The cleats are molded of high-tensile-strength SBR material for resistance to abrasion and impact. Standard length for the model HD2 cleats is 24 in.; cleats are available in five-count boxes with screw/ washer sets or individually in bulk quantities.
