Recently demonstrated for the first time were the PBC-1194, a Pentium-based wireless workstation, and the PBC-1124, a compact, lightweight portable computer featuring local and wide area networking options. The PBC-1194 has a modular design, which allows it to adapt to almost any application environment, transforming from a portable tablet to a mobile workstation to a desktop PC in seconds. The wireless workstation has 32 MB of RAM, and supports the Windows 95 operating system with full pan functionality.The PBC-1124 is 7.6 in. long, weighs only 24.5 oz, and has a Lithium Ion battery pack. The unit has 486 processing power, advanced touch screen technology, and robust wireless networking capability. The basic 1124 contains 2 MB of Flash PROM, expandable to 60 MB.
