Beumer belongs in Top 20

In the January issue, Modern Materials Handling published the first-ever global ranking of the 20 largest materials handling suppliers doing business in the U.S. And as you would expect, the listing has proven to be of great interest to readers.

It was also of great interest to Beumer Corp., Bridgewater, N.J. The company and its parent, Bernhard Beumer Maschinenfabrik KG, Beckum, Germany, should have been included in the list. Beumer is a manufacturer of sortation systems (including tilt tray and comb tray sorters and related information management software), palletizers, and stretch wrap equipment.

Annual worldwide sales of the company are $160 million. That would have put Beumer at #13 on the Top 20 list.
