Dock leveler support system adds safety to maintenance

Made from schedule 40 tubing, the safety yellow Safe-T- Strut support system includes a lockout/tagout capability. When correctly positioned in the company's dock leveler, this support system fits in the base and extends through the leveler's lip, which is able to withstand the vibrations produced when a 10,000 lb fork lift collides with the side of a raised dock leveler. The support system is pin-secured at the leveler's base to prevent accidental withdrawal of the safety system.
