Plastic pallets offer durability, longevity

The editors covered a number of innovative products and systems at press conferences and presentations held during the 1998 North American Material Handling Show and Forum in Detroit. The following is a sampling of what we saw.

Cookson Plastic Molding offers the heavy-duty Structo-Cell, a one-piece, double-face pallet. The Structo-Cell is suited for conveyors and other automated equipment applications. The pallets also withstand exposure to both weather conditions and chemicals. Plastic pallets are used in the aerospace, appliance, building products, electronics, food products, and paper and publishing industries. They are also used for warehousing and work-in-process.
