Sorter has no problem with new zip codes

The editors covered a number of innovative products and systems at press conferences and presentations held during the 1998 North American Material Handling Show and Forum in Detroit. The following is a sampling of what we saw.

Accu-Sort showcased a small-item sorter that will reduce shipping and handling costs for bulk mailers. Parcels are sorted by zip code in accordance with USPS regulations. By pre-sorting, bulk mailers can save up to 5 cents per package.

The sorter expedites returns processing in a range of industries. By speeding this process of returns, product availability increases and reordering levels decrease. Accu-Sort 800-BARCODE
