Power-and-free conveyor for varied applications

The editors covered a number of innovative products and systems at press conferences and presentations held during the 1998 North American Material Handling Show and Forum in Detroit. The following is a sampling of what we saw.

A power-and-free conveyor system with components that can be arranged in a limitless number of combinations for virtually any materials handling need was introduced at NA 98. The Rapid Flow-Plus 4 x 4, features accumulating trolleys that control the movement of carriers. Carriers can be automatically or manually started, stopped, switched, accumulated, regulated, and transferred at any required point in the system. Rapid Industries 502-968-3645
