New associate publisher

MMH's Mac Donald: Cahners veteran moves into new position.

Mitch Mac Donald recently joined the staff at Modern Materials Handling in the newly-created position of associate publisher. Mac Donald has been with Cahners for over nine years. He was included twice in Press Profile's list of the nation's top 10 business journalists.

In February of 1989 Mac Donald joined the staff of Traffic Management as news editor, advancing to chief editor in 1995. In 1996, when the magazine's name changed to Logistics Management, Mac Donald assumed the additional title of associate publisher.

In the spring of 1997, Mac Donald was part of the Cahners team that developed and launched Supply Chain Management Review, a paid quarterly journal targeted at upper level executives at the world's largest companies. While assuming his new duties at MMH, Mac Donald will remain publisher and editorial director of SCMR.
