Compact, rugged terminals for data collection in manufacturing

Here is some of the most recent product information in the area of totes, containers, and pallets that has crossed our editors' desks.

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 9/1/1998

Four ruggedized, fixed-position terminals are built for bar code data collection on the shop floor. The Trakker Antares family of terminals comes in either wired or wireless versions (2.4 GHz).

All models include two bar code input ports and an RS 232 serial port for links to a host computer, scales, or label printer. Displays as large as 12-lines by 40 characters are available. In addition to client/server host computer environments, the terminals support terminal emulation. Intermec Technologies 425-348-2600
