Lift/reach trucks offer easy maneuvering
By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 10/1/1998
A new line of lift/reach trucks are now available for use in situations where other lift truck equipment cannot work. By use of a remote control module, all models have fork lift and tilt functions next to the front side for optimum viewing and placement of a heavy work piece. As a safety feature, removal of the remote control unit prohibits unauthorized use.The "1000'' model was designed for maneuvering in confined spaces and precision placement of loads. A 64-in. lifting height and shuttle base travel permit fork extension capabilities from 1 to 34 in. above and over obstacles. The compact 32-in. width and 63-in. turning radius allow travel and operation in tight quarters.
Accessories include a mini-chain hoist to transport items where forks are less desirable, a box plate to assist forks in moving items safely, and a rack to provide additional height support in transporting large bulky objects. F.A.S.T. Manufacturing, LLC
