Plastic shelving resists rust

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 10/1/1998

Protected with a sealant to provide a lifetime guarantee against rusting, shelves consist of poly-propylene plastic panels in solid or vented styles, snapped onto heavy-duty tubular aluminum frames. The system can be used indoors or out for dry, wet, warm (up to 190(degrees)F) or cold (down to -20(degrees)F). Heavy duty stationary aluminum posts support weight loads of 800 lb per shelf, and steel mobile posts withstand the added stress of rolling heavy loads. Gillis Assoc. Industries 888-541-6500
