ITA honors Hyster's Finney

Hyster's Finney: 1998 ITA Meritorious Award.

Steve Finney, former president of Hyster Company, is this year's recipient of the Meritorious Service award, given by the Industrial Truck Association (ITA).

Established in 1992, the award recognizes the contribution that select individuals make over a long period of time during their stewardship on one of the ITA's standing committees, or membership on the board of directors.

Finney began his career in 1959 with Hyster Company climbing his way to president of the company in 1993. As president, Finney oversaw all marketing operations relating to materials handling equipment for the U.S. and Canada. He recently retired in June of this year. In 1996, Finney assumed presidency of the ITA for a two year term.
