Producing premium quality monochrome as well as 2 and 4-color images, text, graphics, and bar codes at 300 dpi, this printer operates in direct thermal mode. Manufactured as one metal casting, the unit's driven ribbon transport system accommodates up to a 600 meter (1,976 in.) ribbon supply. A factory-installed thermal transfer option is also available.
