Motors improve efficiency ratings
By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 11/1/1998
Available from 1 to 200 horsepower, an improved line of industrial electric motors meets or exceeds new levels established by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE), with some levels now exceeding 96%. As a result, energy consumption is reduced. In addition, motors are wound with an exclusive inverter-spike-resistant magnet wire and are 100 times more resistant to transient voltage spikes, high frequencies, and short rise-time pulses commonly produced by inverters.Baldor Electric Company 501-646-4711
