New shoe sorter handles special items

This transverse-roller slat shoe sorter is suited to high-speed sortation of large conveyable items with a fragile or sticky bottom surface. With this new design, conveyor slats not associated with shoe motion are removed and replaced with narrow transverse-oriented conveyor tread. This allows the product to be rolled to the side of the conveyor rather than being forced to slide across slats.
