Raymond very narrow aisle (VNA)

The following pages highlight the materials handling equipment and systems which received the highest interest during the year according to reader and industry response. They are assembled here for your review.

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 12/1/1998

Raymond introduced a new generation of very narrow aisle (VNA) swing-reach trucks which have a Windows-like digital screen display positioned at the end of the right arm rest in the truck's cab. This dislay permits the operator to scroll easily to a display of details on the vehicle's speed, load height and weight, fork position, wire guidance status, steer tire direction, battery state-of-charge, and other operational performance factors. With the truck's swivel seat, the operator can look left or right with ease.
