A high-speed sortation conveyor features a divert control module located at each divert switch location, providing faster switch response. The module takes over coordination of the timing sensors and switch actuation when the main control issues a signal to divert. Local control of the divert function results in a shorter control loop, quicker response, and simplified field wiring. A pre-engineered control package can accommodate up to 64 divert points. Two models operate up to 350 and 600 FPM respectively.HK Systems
