Collision avoidance systems

For increased safety of overhead materials handling systems, distance detection and collision avoidance systems help prevent crane to crane and crane to wall collisions. The ReFlx 100 system features a 2-channel light sensor, a diamond grade reflective target, and a controller containing the power supply and relay outputs. One channel is used to provide the primary stop command to the motion control, while the second channel is used as a redundant stop command. Other options are available, including a 3-channel system.
