Tracking technology in a chip

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 6/1/1999

Radio frequency identification systems (RFID) improve productivity by providing product/tracking information in real time. RFID tags can be factory or field-programmed and permanently locked if needed. Bytes left unlocked can be rewritten over and over. Up to 50 tags can be scanned even if all are in the read zone.
