A storage and retrieval system for staging applications handles multiple loads per cycle. The system includes a basic miniload storage/retrieval machine with versatile load-handling device combinations for various load types (cartons, trays, totes) and racking designs. The load-handling devices can be arranged for single or multiple units to increase system throughput.
