Drive-in storage racks

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 6/1/1999

Drive-in storage racks provide high-density storage commonly configured from two to seven loads deep. Storage density, however, is limited only by the size of the facility, the capabilities of the handling equipment, and the desired degree of accessibility to stored items. Standard features include flared load rails that provide a wider entry/exit clearance, and space saving low-profile load arms that increase vertical clearances. Welded front arms eliminate load rail protrusions into aisles.
