Zero-pressure accumulation control system

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 7/1/1999

Prevent product damage and mishandling caused by outdated sensor rollers with this non-contact photoelectric sensor system. Components of the new 200 series system simply snap together to provide reliable conveyor control without the need to invest engineering time. Installation costs are reduced by connectors that are preinstalled at points which match the customer's conveyor zone lengths. Three different logic modes are available. The Basic series offers high throughput, smart zero-pressure accumulation control. A Progressive series offers even higher throughput, with each zone running until all zones downstream are full. Finally, the Advanced series features a microprocessor-based sensor and can handle unique algorithms designed for specific customer needs.
