Stock picker platform lifts operator and pallet

Vestil Manufacturing Co. has introduced a new product: the model SP-175 Stockpicker WorkPlatform. The platform is engineered to lift both pallets and warehouse or distribution-center personnel to reach overhead racks and shelving, providing safe and efficient access to high shelves. The company says the device can handle loads with a combined worker/pallet weight of as much as 2,000 lbs.

The unit features all-steel construction. Top provide safety, its 30-in.-wide by 20-in.-deep worker cage is equipped with 42-in. side rails and a 60-in.-high metal rear safety screen. The fork pockets are 2-1/2 in. by 7-1/2 in.

The company notes that it also offers a variety of safety options for the Stockpicker WorkPlatform. Those include an emergency stop button and a rope lanyard with safety belt.
