Printer/applicator offers dual labeling

Here are some new products that have recently crossed our editors' desks.

Built for flexibility and high throughput, the PAM 6000 model printer/applicator can handle two labels of different sizes and materials at a 3.5-sec cycle. The unit features two high-resolution thermal transfer printers and patented dispenser mechanisms that allow very thin or flexible label materials to be reliably dispensed. A rotating head incorporates a fully integrated, miniature, moving-beam laser scanner to confirm bar code readability after label placement. The PAM 6000 is especially well-suited for electronics-oriented manufacturing, according to the vendor.
