Robot standard okayed

This month's 11th Annual National Robot Safety Conference (Sept. 13-16) in Cincinnati will include detailed discussions on the new robot standard approved recently by ANSI. Robotic Industries Association (RIA) exec Jeff Fryman says the new standard has "three times more information on how to properly safeguard robots and robotic work cells than the previous standard."
