SI Handling Systems forms joint venture

SI Handling Systems recently announced the formation of a 50/50 joint venture company, SI-Egemin N.V., with Egemin N.V. of Schoten, Belgium.SI-Egemin N.V. will market horizontal transport systems, including spinning tube, in-floor chain, and automated guided vehicle solutions for global applications outside of North America and Europe. North America will continue to be served by SI Handling, and Europe will continue to be served by Egemin N.V. In addition, each company will have access to each other's technology and products.
"Our relationship with Egemin and the formation of SI-Egemin N.V. fits our vision to be the best materials handling systems supplier as determined by our customers," says SI Handling's president, Bill Johnson. "We are now able to do a better job of servicing our customers as they expand globally."
