Never met a neugent we didn't like

Wouldn't it be great to predict future events that could slow up your supply chain? According to interBiz Solutions, a division of Computer Associates, a new software tool-neugents-do just that.

Also known as neural learning agents, neugents "monitor business processes and recognize sophisticated patterns in data and use this information to predict future opportunities and potential problems." For instance, a neugent could predict the late delivery of a scheduled shipment based on its observations of various factors from raw materials availability to financial difficulties at the carrier. As a result, plans could be made to accommodate the late delivery. Neugents are a part of the new BizWorks business management framework that allows companies to analyze and visualize activities within their companies in real time.
