Public or third-party warehouses in North America are keeping a lot of foods, drugs, film, and other temperature-sensitive goods refrigerated. The International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses reports it has 627 member firms operating 2.1 billion cubic feet of space. IAFR says these firms represent nearly 100% of the industry.Average size of these IAFR warehouses is 3.2 million cubic feet, with facility size ranging from 24,000 cubic feet to 32 million cubic feet.
