Software search made easy

By Staff -- Modern Materials Handling, 12/1/1999

Windows 95 and this CD ROM are all you need to access detailed information on over 1,000 software packages related to materials handling and logistics operations. System requirements for these packages are divided into four subsections: mainframe, minicomputer, microcomputer, and client/server. Users can search for information by vendor, software, function, or keyword. Functions include materials handling, order processing, inventory control, warehouse management, inventory planning and forecasting, stock/pallet location, traffic routing and scheduling, physical distribution system modeling, and much more. Ask for the Logistics Software survey.
