New Excel will focus on supply chain

Excel Logistics has simplified it's company name, changing it to Excel."Our new name and image reflects both Excel's progress in developing-and it's future focus on providing-advanced supply chain solutions to major customers in our target global industries," says Gerry Murphy, Excel chief executive officer.
To mark the change to "Excel," a new corporate identity will be officially launched on March 1 and phased in over the next 2 years.
"Our customers now look to Excel for comprehensive supply chain solutions, way beyond the traditional logistics areas of warehousing and transportation," says Murphy. "Excel's solutions are designed and operated to improve the speed, cost, and efficiency of both domestic and global supply chains, and to enable e-commerce."
