DMW contracts with German manufacturer

Dearborn Mid-West Conveyor (DMW) will manufacture and sell Fredenhagen GmbH's automated electrified monorail (AEM) product line in the U.S.

The agreement provides an automotive license for 4 years expanding then to worldwide all-application use. AEM is a fixed-path materials handling transportation technology that features speed and ergonomic handling as well as noise management .

DMW president Wes Paisley says that the relationship with Fredenhagen will strengthen DMW's position as a provider of materials handling systems to the automotive, postal, and bulk handling industries.
